This is our third Christmas since starting this website. Jing and I are very grateful to our dedicated readers, and to those influencers who have listed our blog among their top Chinese cuisine sites. I will never forget, the first time she got a comment from an American reader. She was completely astounded that anyone would find her work interesting, let alone worthy of comment. Your loyal support has given her the confidence she needs to find success in a profession that is a non-traditional career path for women in China.
This fall has been very busy for her. She is studying in culinary school and working on a university degree at the same time. This semester she has taken her licensing exams for Chinese Chef, Pastry Chef, and Western Cuisine Chef. We are planning many improvements for the site in 2024, including more great, authentic recipes and Chinese culture stories.
