My Chinese Home Kitchen has always been dedicated to sharing healthy and delicious dishes. But sometimes, we also share some “weird” dishes, or fried snack foods. Like our recipe with fried pork ribs, it got a lot of visitors. It was popular. Today we’re going to share Deep-fried Pork Tenderloin.

Deep-fried pork tenderloin can be used as a snack, and if you want to share the snacks you make for your friends, then it’s a good choice. This dish requires very few ingredients, the whole process is simple, and it does not take you too much time. So, even if you have little free time, you can complete the dish. 

The whole dish only requires pork tenderloin as an ingredient, and the tenderloin meat is simply handled with a knife. Then it is marinated while you heat the oil. After marinating, coat each side of the tenderloin pieces with cornstarch. Then we turn and tumble the pork in the hot oil until it turns golden brown. Once on a plate, you can serve it with tomato sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce. It makes a great party snack.

It requires very few ingredients to use, the whole process is simple, and it does not take you too much time, even if you have little free time, you can complete the dish. The pork tenderloin is sliced thin with a knife, cut into triangular pieces, marinated and the fried in hot oil.

  • Cut the tenderloin into ⅛ in. (3-5 mm) thick slices along the grain, then cut into triangular pieces.
    300 g pork tenderloin
    Slice the pork into 3-5 mm thick slices, along the grain
  • Rinse. Drain completely.

  • Add salt and white pepper to the pork and stir well and marinate for 10 minutes.
    5 ml salt, 3 ml white pepper, ground
    Add cornstarch to the pork and stir to coat evenly
  • Add starch to the marinated finished pork. Stir to combine.
    25 g cornstarch

  • Fill the wok about ⅓ of the with cooking oil. Heat to 265°-300°F (130°-150° C). Then use a medium-low heat, put the pork in hot oil, fry until golden and crispy, remove and drain the oil.

Notes

  • It’s a dry dish, so we need to drain as much as possible.
  • Be sure both sides of the pork are evenly coated with starch.
  • When the pork is fried in hot oil, be careful not to let it stick together.
